Licenses guys. It costs alot more cause of them. The Taj isn't a theme so it doesn't cost LEGO anything for making it. As in making it, not making the bricks, like just not for licenses. 

Now this is a story all about how my life got flip turned Upsidedown and I'd like to take a minute to sit right there......

Also the Death Star has like 31 minifigs, and this has none.
